I love Staten Island. I don’t think there is another borough in the City of New York that has the unique features of Staten Island. The various beaches, parks, cultural events, and architectural styles set this borough apart from the rest. As a native Staten Islander and over 25 years’ experience, I have a great wealth of knowledge of all facets of the Staten Island real estate industry. 

Recently, along with so many others I became displaced by "Sandy". I'm rebuilding! I understand the needs of victims first hand and can help guide you from what I have personally learned.

Career Bio

I began my career in real estate in the early 1980s working as an administrator in corporate lending for a major Israeli bank. I became a salesperson on Staten Island in the late 1980s, but took a six-year hiatus when I seized an opportunity to own and operate a neighborhood fast food restaurant. After five very successful years, I sold the restaurant, and returned to the real estate industry in 1994. I got back into the market as a manager in a Virginia Savings Bank subsidiary, which was organized to sell off bulk loans of a failed Savings and Loan. After successfully selling off all the loans, I moved into property management, where I have been for the last 16 years. I am a lead property manager for a major real estate developer/management company and I specialize in multi-family condominium management in downtown Manhattan. My office portfolio contains more than 2,700 apartments. Please feel free to call me with any of your needs, as I will be more than happy and able to assist you.

Selling a house can be a stressful time but not when you have a dedicated real estate agent like Krzysztof Kania. From listing our home through contract and closing he was a true professional. He promptly answered our questions and communication was always easy. He was informative and responsive throughout the entire process, which went by very quickly and he got us full asking price. At the end of the process we were out of town and Krzysztof went out of his way to shovel our driveway before the homebuyer arrived. What Agent would do this? Another wonderful gesture is he gave us a beautiful housewarming gift for our new home. He is highly recommended to anyone buying or selling a home.
